The Professions of Guild Wars 2
On guildwars2.com, there's quite a full list of professions available now! If you haven't seen the latest, you need to, so step through and check out The Thief or any other profession you've missed now!
The Thief
Apparently a blend of a traditional thief class and the assassin from the original Guild Wars Factions campaign, the thief is the newest and the most unique profession yet revealed. This stealthy and deadly profession is sure to challenge your preconceptions and possibly your planned profession choice as well... at least, it has for me! What about you?
The Guardian
Possibly a hybrid of the paragon and the dervish from the original Guild Wars Nightfall campaign. That's for you to tell me!
The Necromancer
Inspired by the necromancer from the original Guild Wars Prophecies campaign, this updated variation promises to be more deadly, and certainly more morbidly alluring than its predecessor. Weigh in with your opinion!
The Ranger
Inspired by the ranger from the original Guild Wars Prophecies campaign, this profession is an old classic. Or is it?
The Warrior
Inspired by the warrior from the original Guild Wars Prophecies campaign, this deadly combatant may not be all new, but it's certainly new and improved. What do you think?
The Elementalist
Inspired by the elementalist from the original Guild Wars Prophecies campaign, this magic wielding powerhouse is sure to please. Though gameplay may be very similar to the previous incarnation, so I'm not sold on this one yet. How about you?

The Races of Guild Wars 2
Hopefully, you've heard by now, but on guildwars2.com, there's a full list of races available! If you haven't seen them all yet, you need to, so step through and check out the Norn or any other races you've missed now!
Sylvari
Possibly rooted in celtic mythology, but clearly inspired by elvish lore, the Sylvari are the youngest race in Tyria, and have opened up a whole new world of role playing opportunities. Are you one with the forest?
Norn
By the bear, the Norn are fierce, ferocious, and without fear. Clearly inspired by vikings of the frozen north, and based on norse mythology, this race towers above the rest. Have you attained your ursine form?
Charr
The feline race of Charr remind me of a pack of lions more than a litter of house kittens. The most feral, and possibly the most dangerous of all the races, the Charr war machine forges ever onward. Will you stand atop the parapets of the Black Citadel?
Asura
A small but super-intelligent race of gnome-like beings who prefer to ride on the backs of magical golems, the Asura are either a gift to all of Tyria, or the future overlords of mankind. Do you believe in the Eternal Alchemy?
Human
Humanity has been put through the ringer, but their spirit remains unshaken. Do you have what it takes to be humanity's greatest hero?

Guild Wars 2 Trailers
The Races of Tyria
Two new trailers are available on www.guildwars2.com. The first is the exclusive Sneak Peak Trailer, giving us our first glimpse into the world of Guild Wars 2. The second (shown above) is a trailer about the races of Tyria in Guild Wars 2, and features a dynamic form of a lot of the concept art already available on the site, plus some additional in-game footage to give you an idea of the epic scale of this new game. I personally can't wait to play it, but for now these trailers will have to suffice. You can watch them here in standard definition (SD) or go to the official Guild Wars 2 website and view them in high definition (HD). Once you've watched them, come on back and get on the forum to talk about what you think!
