Once again, it's time to celebrate the season in true Guild Wars fashion! This year's annual Wintersday festival is bigger and better than ever, with new NPCs, quests, rewards, and even holiday-themed PvP tournaments. You'll also get another chance at the best prizes and quests from previous Wintersday festivities, including the traditional snowball fight between the followers of Grenth and those of Dwayna. Plus, for the first time ever, you get to see the Eye of the North all decked out in its best holiday finery!
Clear your schedule from December 19th through January 5th, and make plans to join Lt. Thackeray of the Ebon Vanguard as he oversees and coordinates the most spectacular Wintersday festival ever!
In November tournament news, September's champion, Whats Going On [sup], emerged victorious over Dangerous and Moving [DM]. For Hero Battles, I Smurf I defeated Dual Meld Tanker to claim victory for November. We extend our congratulations to all competitors! Also, we are adding November prediction points to the Xunlai Agent and updating the tonic in the Zaishen Chest. If you made November predictions in the Xunlai Tournament House, check your neighborhood Xunlai Agent to claim your Tournament Reward Points.

"MISSING?" Luxon guards of the Deep near Cavalon were unable to stop a raging psychotic woman from charging into the depths alone earlier this week. Reports from eye-witnesses also claim to have seen a company of demons dragging another man into the Deep sometime earlier, but guards have been unable to breach the defenses. The woman who later entered emerged sometime afterward, but no sign has been seen of the man. Again, Luxon officials caution against going anywhere near the Deep.

"WEREWOLF ACTIVITY?" According to the Canthan Guard, werewolf activity has plummeted drastically, leaving the civilian population to wonder if the threat has passed, or merely calmed before the great storm. Information regarding the werewolves is in dire need, and the Emperor's Hand is offering gold rewards for any who turn up such needed information.

"ASCALON'S REBIRTH?" The cries of the mysterious sage claiming the rebirth of Ascalon have fallen silent in these days, leading to several other groups in Ascalon seeking to reclaim their fallen birthrights. The nation has become increasingly restless at the prospects of winning the war against the Charr, and indeed, the Ascalon military has redoubled its efforts.
