Orion was born and raised in Tsumei Village, and spent many years of his boyhood in the mountains Sunqua Vale and the hills below Shing Jea Monastery. After many years of daydreaming and thinking, Orion had made himself a complete hermit. Eventually, he set his mind to higher ends and joined the Shing Jea Academy. After deciding to train with Master Togo, he still frequented the Sunqua Vale, where he tested his limits. However, he slowly developed social abilities, and eventually met Rylen. They were married soon after, and continued training together with Togo, until the events of the plague struck Shing Jea, and pulled them further into Cantha.

Orion is the guildmaster of the Order of Ghaldron Terrace [GoT]. This role was not originally his goal, but the responsibility was thrust upon him, and he has since come to appreciate his leadership potential. He now regularly trains recruits and leads them into battle, keeping them safe, while allowing them to effectively excercise their skills as warriors. Often, Orion will maintain his stoic habits, and remain aloof, but is learning how to open up to people more, thanks to his wife's encouragement. Recently, he has even shown some esoteric personality traits, especially when around (or consuming) alcohol.
