Brief Description:
Veda grew up in a small and close family. Her parents were working-class citizens of Shing Jea Island. Although they did not have much money, they were very happy people… that is until tragedy struck their family on Veda’s sixth birthday. During the night, Veda and her brother were kidnapped from their home. At some point, Veda blacked out and woke up on a beach not far from their home.. Her parents had found her the next morning, but no trace of her brother. What they did find was mysterious tattoo, printed on the nape of her neck. The tattoo was of a lark… which coincidentally was the nickname her brother had given her. “Little Lark” he called her because she loved to sing.

Veda vowed to become a Ranger and study tracking skills, always imagining that one day she would find her brother. By the time she was seventeen, Veda had become a fierce and knowledgeable Ranger and studied some of the Ritualist arts as well. Losing her brother left a deep wound in her heart which she kept to herself. Other than her parents, no one knows about what happened to her as a child. Instead, Veda portrays a positive attitude and uses her humor to hide her sorrows. When a battle arises, Veda is the first to volunteer. She keeps a watchful eye on her closest friends and allies, afraid she’ll lose loved ones.

Veda has become a hero in her homeland of Cantha, fighting with others across the world. Everywhere she goes, she looks for signs of her brother… holding on desperately to the hope that he may be alive. Recently, she joined the ranks of the Order of Ghaldron Terrace. Her passion for searching for her brother mimics the guild’s passion in their search for the Golden Tree of Ghaldron. They both are mysteries.
