Dear Orphans,

I made an announcement, earlier this week.The announcement was about Mira, she's always been a good friend to me. This is why it saddens me to have to be the bearer of bad news.

Recently, while in my office I found some very disturbing letters from the Ministry of defense about her being involved with certain activities which resulted in her being a fugitive. Being that she has been staying in our halls, we were, knowingly or unknowingly, harboring a fugitive.For the protection of the Orphans, I asked her to leave. I feel as though I made the right decision and I hope I have your support.

 Finally to Mira: You’ll be missed without a doubt. I do hope our paths cross again soon.Take care of yourself.

Moonlighter's is still going strong!  Hosted by Ching Lan Wu [OOK] and Kasen Sorel [OOK], this adventure group meets Mondays at 11PM EST.  Most expeditions leave from the Orphans of Kukai Guild hall.  Chyminy Riquet [OOK] will return to hosting in the summer.

In the last week, we've welcomed back old friends Garan Faelblood, Amelia Sarasan, and Lewis Primara. Also, Moristaria Fury has joined our ranks. A warm welcome to you all!

Things have been a little hectic around here, so I'm sorry for the delay.

First of all, a warm welcome back to Fraz the Wanderer. Aaiden Litonis has returned to us after a break as well. Be sure to say hi to them both!

According to news reports, the new Warmarshal of Kourna is called Ulfgar Fogeyes and he has a deep loyalty to his country and serves the people.

Also, congratulations to Alwyn Syrin and Ching Lan Wu on the birth of their twins!

There are two polls currently open to Orphans.  For Orphans only, there is a poll about the new cape, which is found below this news message.  Please choose your favorite!  At the Study you can find descriptions of every cape.

Also, at the TSCA home there is a poll for the favorite caption of last month's caption contest!  Please vote for your favorite!




In addition, I would like to welcome Vincent Voltiare to OOK, and hope that he finds this a welcoming and happy family!

Longtime friends of OOK, Vamp Lord Alexio and Dierdre Bastet, have recently joined our family - please welcome them now not only as friends, but as Orphans!  Also, please welcome back longtime Orphan Diath Verol, who spent some time travelling abroad - we are glad to see him home.

Below you can find descriptions of the standing OOK officers and leaders, as well as the new officers.  Please read through the short descriptions carefully as they will help you determine where you should focus your questions, concerns, and ideas.  Please also remember that OOK is now harboring three new officers; therefore, if they cannot answer a question or are unable to help, I hope that you direct your attention to Tylarc, Mazer, Chyminy, or Myself.  Don't forget that for serious discussions, the Council Chambers is always open.

Mira:  Temporary Leader/First Officer.  Continue actions growing and moving TSCA's name, as  a kind of diplomat, and, you know, guild stuff.

Mazer:  Temporary First Officer/Morale Officer.  Identify and work to solve problems within the guild.  Provide advice to improving relations as needed.  Keep alive the Orphan spirit.

Tylarc:  Second Officer/Recruitment.  Identify and speak with potential applicants; find sponsors for the applicants, get the applicants acquainted with the guild so that they can become full, long-lasting, and happy members.

Chyminy:  Internal Affairs Officer.  Deal with issues of great importance to the guild, such as serious member problems or the future of the guild.

Eva:  Founder/Leader.  Keep the spirit of the Orphans alive into the future.

Euron:  Adventure Guide.  Keep Orphans working together in missions, and help find groups to help Orphans with larger expeditions.  Lead larger expeditions.

Ponchis:  Alliance Event Officer.  Propose, promote, and run public events.

Kasen:  Guild Event Officer.  Propose, promote, and run guild events.  Help Ponchis become reacquainted with the guild and with events when she returns.

Lance:  Internal Communications Officer.  Encourage communication between guild members, including use of guild chat (IC), discussion in missions and invites to both missions and farming runs, jump starting RP if someone's quietly hanging out in the hall, and generally keeping to the IC-focus of the guild.

Orphans, please welcome Melina Garrun into our family, and make sure she feels welcome and gets to know as many of us as possible!  Also please welcome back a longtime Orphan, Ching Lan Wu.

Also, please congratulate our very own Aurora Rain Storm, who won the Alliance Anagram Contest!  Her creativity shines through.
